I’m so excited to share my Velvet Lava Blooms quilt! This version is made with Amy Sinibaldi’s newest collection for Art Gallery Fabrics, Velvet! This quilt was a beautiful collaboration with my friend Brooke Becker of Lady Belle Fabric.
So much love and detail went into this quilt! Brooke and I spent many evenings deciding on the perfect fabric combos, sending mockups back and forth, and even polling our families before we decided! There were also shipping delays and late nights sewing and quilting, but in the end it was all totally worth it.
Brooke chose the most perfect panto for this quilt, Floral Garden. It ties in beautiful with the florals in the fabric and the style of the quilt. Be sure to check out Brooke’s quilting services, she never disappoints!
Having this project included in the Velvet Collection Lookbook was a quilty dream come true! This collection is truly stunning and full of sweet floral prints. I still can’t get over these colors! This might be my favorite collection yet!
