It’s finally that time of year, friends! I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! I love finding that perfect gift for someone, so, in preparation for the gift-giving season, I’ve created a Quilty Gift Guide filled with some of my favorite things that would make awesome gifts (and stocking stuffers) for quilters. Check out the gift guide on the blog to get ideas for your quilty friends (or yourself) and share it with your loved ones so they know what’s on your list this year!
Fabric Color Chips & Swatches
I absolutely love my fabric color chips from Woven & Woolly! They make playing around with fabric pulls fun and ordering fabric online much easier. I have both the Kona Cotton Solids and Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids sets. Sew Curated has a set for Art Gallery Fabrics Pure solids that have a larger fabric swatch!
Tailors Clapper
Tailor’s clappers have become and essential tool in my sewing room. My favorites are from Lamb & Loom Fabrics and Rosie Girl Quilting. Both are beautifully handcrafted and are excellent at making the flattest seams.
Handmade Pincushions
I love these pincushions made by Elaine over at Create Joy Quilt Co. They are so well made using such beautiful fabric, plus they are large enough to hold all your pins, and have a pocket to hold small scissors and binding clips. Throw in my favorite Little House Pins, and you’re all set!
Quilty Apparel
Every quilter needs a quilty wardrobe, right? I’ve loved Maker Valley tees and sweatshirts for a while now, and there’s so many to choose from! Sew Worthy Mama recently released these adorable maternity tees and onesies for mama and baby!
Custom Quilt Labels
I love my custom quilt labels from Ever Emblem! They add the perfect finishing touch to all my quilty projects. They have some beautiful predesigned labels that you can customize or get extra creative and submit your own artwork!
Wooden Sewing Tools
Modern American Vintage makes beautifully handcrafted sewing tools that are sure to become heirlooms themselves! The matching kits include a seam ripper, hera marker, and point turner, and come in a mixture of exotic woods.
Quilt Hangers
I love the idea of hanging quilts up as wall art and these wooden Quilt Hangers are just beautiful! They come in all different sizes and finishes. I decided to make and hang a Lava Blooms Quilt block on mine.
Oliso Mini Iron & Wool Pressing Mat
The Oliso Mini Project Iron and a wool pressing mat make the perfect pair for pressing small quilt projects and quilt blocks. Plus, the size makes it easier for small sewing spaces!
Stripology Ruler
The Creative Grids Stripology XL ruler is my all time favorite ruler and it should be a staple in ever sewing room! I love how efficient and fun it makes cutting out a quilt!
Fabric
What’s a quilt without fabric?! Gift Cards to a fabric shop would make a perfect stocking stuffer! A few of my favorites are Sewing Arts, Lamb and Loom Fabrics, and Cottoneer.
Paper Patterns
I can’t forget about paper patterns! All my patterns come in a full-color printed paper option and would make a great Christmas gift! I also have gift cards available to my shop.
The Quiltessential Planner
Last, but not least, The Quiltessential Planner! This planner was designed especially for quilters and is great for planning all your projects for the new year and helping you finish them, too! It’s undated and comes with a matching pen and sticker sheet that includes tabs for all the sections in the planner.
happy gifting & happy holidays!
