Desert Diamonds Quilt

It's Desert Diamonds Release Day!

I’m so excited to share my newest pattern, Desert Diamonds! Desert Diamonds is a block-based pattern featuring Diamond in a Square Blocks and Flying Geese. The pattern includes 3 sizes, baby, square throw, and large throw, and instructions for a 4 color version (Modern), and a 2 color version (Traditional). One of my favorite parts of this pattern is how the design adds a secondary pattern within the background fabric.

The cover quilt is the large throw size using AGF Pure Solids by Art Gallery Fabrics in Desert Dunes, Terracotta Tile, and Mauvelous as the background fabric. The backing is Foraged Blooms from the Twenty Collection by Katerina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabircs.

The jaw dropping quilting was done by he amazing Sarah Campbell of Stitch Mode Quilts. Sarah helped me choose this dense design and I’m so in love with the yummy texture it gives!

Lamb and Loom Fabrics and I worked together to choose the fabric for this Christmas version and they have kits available in their shop! This is the square throw size and it’s perfect so snuggles on the couch during the coming holiday season.

Meet the Testers

As always, I was blown away by my amazing tester and their color palettes and fabric pulls! Their gorgeous versions are sure to give you lots of inspiration! I love how testers bring a versatility to the pattern.

Jennyth @pasadenaquiltstudio was defineately inspired by the desert with this baby size in different shades of brown and with a gorgeous pop of gold. She has kits available in her shop!

Lisa @sewcurated made this beautiful square throw size in blush pinks with a pop of caramel and backed it with the coziest flannel. She also has kits available in her shop!

Erin @modernquiltlab made this baby size with a gorgeous muted earthy color palette. I love the texture the woven fabric adds and that backing is perfect!

Britt @stitchingb Knocked it out of the park with this bold and beautiful color combo and equally amazing shot in the wild!

Elle @ellenrosequilts made this baby version using all vibrant solids against the most perfect speckled background. I love how bright and happy it looks!

Amy @amyjohnstonrobertson never disappoints with the way she mixes her fabrics! The black and white floral and pops of orange and gold against the blue speckled background as so beautifully unexpected!
